Not clear re what basic membership entitles you to as far as I am concerned.

The key points which I liked about this site is that the actual layout of the website is fairly well laid out. Doing a profile search is also a straightforward process and the profiles themselves provide one with plenty of information about the potential match (dependant of course on how much information has been submitted by a person).

The site does seem to have a significant weakness of loading speed on the login page for me. Normally just to enter my password takes about 20 seconds which is rather poor for a website in this day and age. Also a site called 'dating direct affinity' pops up in a new window. I still haven't a clue if this is a completely different website or a newer version of dating direct (and if so why doesn't it replace the old site?!)

Annoyingly, although profiles are easy to access, with non-subscription you can only access 3 a day. This to me seems to be trying to pressure you into paid subscription. I would much rather have unlimited access to profiles to determine if it is worth me paying up for a subscription.

Although the benefits of premier 6 month and 3 month subscriptions are clear, there is also a single one month subscription available but this does not include the word 'premier'. I was therefore not sure what this level of subscription entitles you to, although I presume that you can e-mail members with it...

On my first few days on the site, I did receive winks from 3 ladies. 2 were from way up north so I was therefore a bit puzzled why they were contacting me from all that distance... I did also receive a wink from a local lady so this might tempt me to join the site.

I have been a member on the site a few years back and did not have much success with it then. Again, as with all internet dating sites the ladies seem to be after something which doesn't exist.

When I have less work commitments I probably would join this site to see if the ladies on it are different to the other internet dating site I have been on, but would only do one month as a trial period to see how effective it is.
