Cheap, good service, easy to book on web, never had an issue with payments or dodgy cars

General Comments

I have used Autoeurope all over the med for quite a few years. They are I think the lowest cost rental company. I use them a lot in Corfu and they tend to dish out the car rental to one of about 5 different rental companies at the airport i.e National or Hertz etc. There is never an actual Autoeurope desk. I have had no issues with them (yet). I have just hired a car for Christmas for three weeks in Tenerife and it works out at around £10 per day which has got to be good value. I would recommend them without hesitation. Just make sure you check you car properly before you leave the airport or wherever you pick it up from and make sure any marks or damage is written down on the contract and signed by the person at the desk. If you discover a mark or damage that is not noted do not take the car until you have brought it to their attention and had it signed and marked for. That said half the time in Spain and Greece anyway they don't even really bother to check it when you bring it back!
