Overall Rating
- Value for money

Good humor, good music, excellent lighting and general effects, Some excellent acting work from Gerard Kelly, Karen Dunbar and the rest of the cast. Some new, innovative choreography throughout also.
Bad Points
Many jokes we have heard before, not much new or fresh. Karen Dunbar is excellent but I think having her play both Wicked Stepmother and Fairy Godmother, is a bit of a bad decision. She plays both roles well, but personally, it doesn't work! Singing was a bit inaudible, a problem which from experience tends to be fixed over the course of the run.
General Comments
To any one who has not visited the King's panto before, or who has not been for 5 years or so, this will be a thoroughly enjoyable evening, the performance will be fresh and the jokes hilarious. To those of us regulars to the King's panto, it is still up to the standard, but is nothing terribly new, and most of the jokes and routines have all been done before. In panto you're allowed to repeat jokes and routines, but not on such a regular basis.
Go if you can, support a wonderful theatre and enjoy an excellent theatrical experience.,
