Good Points

Acceleration. Passing from 50mph is real fun. Quick.
GPS Navigation System is worth the money. Automatically reroutes map and voice instructions if you miss a turn. Mark Levenson Audio. Nice highway ride. Traction control system. Solid built car. No rattles. No cheap parts.

Bad Points

The hard acceleration is good, however seems to vary through each gear as if something is seriously monitoring and adjusting serveral times a second. It is very small and most people would not notice (like my wife).
Premium fuel (which is optional if you want to keep the 300hp).
Suspension is tight at low speeds, but seems to fishtail at 80+mph when turning real hard. Yea, traction control will always save you.

General Comments

The GPS navigation on the Lexus GS430 allows you to explore alternate paths to work. My wife found a new route that takes us on back roads instead of the highway. We both take this route which is a consistant 35 minutes rain or shine. If we took the interstate, it would always take longer. In the year we have had this car, I'd say we have saved 300 hours between the both of us. So, to justify the money: 200 * $30 per hour = $6000.00 (laugh if you want). If you make more, you justify it more; if you make less, you shouldn't be buying this car.
Mechanical problems: Subwolfer went out (no, not because of playing it too loud). Bad headlight.
We are not looking at selling this car for a long time. Its a keeper.

This review was very helpful. Have been looking at this car and it seems a little high compared to others that we've been looking at. The interior I really like, but was unsure on how it would handle at high speeds and over a long period of time. It also felt like the gas and brakes were a little off. Is that something you get used to?
