Good Points

All-metal, 15 shot stick (not rotary) magazine, semi-automatic blowback, field strippable, slide stays back when ammo out, de-cocking inbuilt, REALLY FUN!

Bad Points

Co2 screw could possibly have been avoided by using a locking-lever (screw hinders aesthetic accuracy), smooth-bore barrel is not for those who want to spend all day target shooting (but really you should know this before buying anyway), if you are being fussy the safety catch is not in the same place as the real gun. Possible prospect of leaky seal.

General Comments

Soo...we all know that this is a smooth-barelled gun for fun and not accuracy.

However, I must say that buying with this in mind, the gun is much more accurate than I expected, despite most reviews making claims such as
"the gun is so inaccurate that at five paces it'll miss a target completely, hit the edges of the pellet trap and ricochet unpredictably." (expert reviewer)
Personally, at five paces, the gun will shoot through the same hole more than once, and 15 shots can easily be grouped to within 2-3 cm of each-other. Having said this, the sights themselves are fixed and so range estimation will come into play when shooting at differing distances.
I am NOT claiming that this gun is an accurate one, merely that it is not as bad as often portrayed, in my opinion.

For all intents and purposes (a fun, blowback, plinker all metal and well-modelled pistol, with the magazine being a large buying point as the rotary magazines in rifled pistols are not so fun to use, they are for accuracy), this gun has a fair price and for me was definitely worth it.

One problem identified by others has been one of the seals failing after a while. Mine has not yet done this but is only a couple of weeks old. If the seal breaks I am not sure of the best course of action, but would try either buying the seal and replacing it following the schematic diagram supplied, local repair, or sending it off to (probably over-priced) Umarex. Any comments as to what might be the best choice from experience would be welcome. The manual stresses not to over-tighten the screw and so I have tightened with care, hopefully it will stay in tact.

I think that the PPK/S has gained it inaccuracy reputation because of its blowback feature. Not that it is a tackdriver, but it isn't as bad as many claim.
Coming from experience with 'real' pistols, including up to a .44Magnum, it takes lots of practice to return to exactly the same sight picture after recovering from the recoil the PPK has. I think a lot of people have experience with CO2 guns without blowback (and without recoil) and just don't realize how much of an art shooting is when you have recoil to deal with.
