Good Points

I've been On Marapets now for almost three months. I love the quest and missions features it has. The site usually is fast to load and you can cram a lot into your leisure time. The high usage and rising and falling prices on items means you have to stay ahead of the game to make a profit and that makes it rather more interesting than some of the more plod along games on offer on the web. The site isn't too big that it's overwhelming when you join, within an hour or so it's quite easy to master the basics and you soon find yourself addicted.


Bad Points

So here's the downside and in my opinion it's a big one. The site crashes constantly for me, seemingly every other week, sometimes for an hour, sometimes for days, I have known it to be weeks. This is highly frustrating for me as no explanation is ever offered once the site is up and running it seems. I personally find it difficult to get in contact with anyone who works for the site it seems...


General Comments

The site offers multiple forum boards which can be fun but get a little crazy at times because of the lack of quality moderation, I tend to find that the other players are left to enforce the basic rules of posting which they do in their own inpolite manner which can get irratating if you are one of the many 'older' players on the site.

The site could be greatly improved with more attention to maintenance in my opinion, aside from the afore mentioned frequent crashes parts of the site often breakdown randomly and there is never a rush to fix them I feel.
Marapets offers a good time for free or you can buy 'upgrades' which give you an advantage over other players however I would strongly advise people not to purchase them until they have been playing a while, get used to the game and only purchase using real money when and if you feel confident that you can tolerate the glitches in the site. Be warned too that upgrades can take a while to process..

On the whole I would say that Marapets is worth a look, It has fun content and when the updated stuff finally reaches the users it does add to the enjoyment.
