I have 7 weeks left before I am entitled to an upgrade. Unfortunately, my phone has stopped working properly, and I have a very limited range of functions. The scroll buttons won't work and I can't send or reply to texts easily. O2 have suggested I send it in to be repaired, but this will take 2 weeks. They will not agree to an early upgrade, despite the fact that I have been with them for years. Out of principle, I'm going to cancel my contract. I'm really disappointed by their poor approach to customer services and relations.

    just to let you know if you have a nokia or Sony Ericson, there are certain carphone warehouses with repair stations specifically for these phones. Just take a copy. Of your contract to one to show the phone is still in it's contract. I would call one just to check where your nearest one is

    I am having the same problem with only four weeks to wait for my upgrade. I have two N95s on contract and both are not charging properly any more. O2 want both to be sent back and are not prepared to give me a loan phone. As mobiles are part of essential communication when you have children and are running a business this is an impossible and unreasonable situation to be put in. I too am particularly dissatisfied and as I have been paying for two phones and O2 broadband it will be a shame to have to change everything because their business does not make sense!
