Good Points

Secure way of sending and receiving payments.


Bad Points

Very expensive, can't transfer funds to your bank if you have less then £50 in your Paypal account.


General Comments

We have had a paypal account for a number of years and find that it's a great way of paying for things through ebay with a credit card or funds in the paypal account.
The big problem with paypal though is that it keeps getting more expensive all the time to receive payments and I can't transfer my paypal funds to your bank until you have £50 or more in your paypal account, this is another thing that lets paypal down, you receive a payment but can't touch it until you reach £50 so they are earning interest on your money.
A good thing about paypal is that they cover your purchase for up to £500 so if you buy something say on ebay and it doesn't arrive or it is not what you paid for then they will investigate and get you your money back.
Paypal is an easy to use service but i would not recommend it as it is just getting way too expensive to receive payments after they have taken the commission fees.
