Il Divo-The Promise - The best way to describe this cd is: LOVED IT! This cd released 11-18, and I see great things for this self described 'operatic boy band.'This cd is not your typical boring opera music! I prefer heavy metal, yet I thoroughly enjoyed this cd! Their music is slow, rich, & full. But don't let the word operatic throw you! The music is not boring! All of the songs but one is not in English, but you do not need to understand the language to enjoy it. The music is great mood music, and I envision enjoying this cd over a candlelight dinner, as well as while I'm surfing the internet! The band will be touring the states in 2009, and I expect to hear a lot more from them! They are a creation of Simon Cowell from American Idol, and have been together since 2004. They have sold over 22 million cds, have performed to over 1.5 million people in 30 countries! They have also had 2 sold out world wide tours!
