None - absolutely none


Bad Points

Punctuality awful. NO customer information. Really poor staff. They absolutely do not seem to care that they are messing up people's journeys in a big way, especially when there are connections - probably it happens so often on Iberia that they are hardened to it. You can almost see the 'so what' shrug. And the cabins are pretty shabby too.


General Comments

My first and last journey with Iberia. It's definitely the worst airline I've ever come across, and I've flown on some pretty dubious local airlines in the Far East over the years. This is a worse than no-frills airline at full cost. My husband and I flew from Seville to London via Madrid today, but on separate flights as I needed to be home earlier. We both had similar dreadful experiences with both legs on both our journeys badly delayed. Iberia gave me no information. My Madrid-London flight was eventually cancelled and then consolidated with another. Customer 'service' (!!! - Iberia doesn't know the meaning) cancelled my boarding card and told me it would be 'free seating' - in other words a free for all. I spent the next 2 1/2 hours standing in a queue at the Madrid boarding gate - this after an hour's delay earlier at Seville - with no idea when the plane would go, so unable to leave the departure gate to get any food or drink in case we were boarded - fat chance! Others had been waiting even longer having been cancelled on a flight 2 hours earlier and were worrying about catching intercontinental connections in London. Did Iberia give any information over the plane intercom on departure gates for those rushing to catch connections - of course they didn't. Did Iberia give its customers even a drink - during a 9 hour journey -of course they didn't. I was finally given a half glass of water with bad grace 3/4 of an hour after we took off. Iberia charges full price ( £180 per person Seville to London) but is a no frills airline, and then some. My husband had just the same experience on his later flights. Never, never, again Iberia.
