General Comments

I found the Hoover DM5530 to be a pure piece of garbage. I tried hard to give it a fair trial but I am sorry that I cannot see any good points. The wheels have now fallen off. The dust bags jams up all the time with a collection of impacted dust, not because it needs emptied. When I first bought it I called the makers who came out and replaced the parts to stop the blockages but it didn't work. It tips over and the brush for pet hair is weak and useless not turning as it should. A complete waste of money.
