Good Points

Easy to use and responsive interface. As you change your filters products appear and disappear in realtime. Faster than searching through the regular Amazon catalogue.


Bad Points

It only uses prices from Amazon USA, so you can't compare prices across different stores.


General Comments

Spectackler is an AJAX interface to the Amazon catalogue. It lets you filter and sort products according to lots of different criteria in realtime. It's aimed at people who know vaguely what they want but want to explore the possibilities. When you search for an item you are presented with a list of products and a series of filters. As you change the filters, items appear and disappear in realime. You can also save your searches for later, or to send them to a friend.
