I've had this phone for a year now and I love it! The only problems I've had are that there's no bluetooth and also if you're in the middle of texting and your phone rings or a text comes through you lose the text you were making and have to start it again. But apart from that I think it's great, it has a good camera for a VGA, and it has radio, and basicially just does everything it's supposed to do really well. It's good for a first phone, because it's cheap, has all the functions you need, and looks really nice. I don't know what all these people saying it's a bad phone are on about!
