Good Points

The main bowl is large enough to take family-sized portions of food. The base unit is compact and the motor is powerful. The machine is attractively styled (well, to my eye!) and is relatively easy to keep clean.

Bad Points

The speed switch/controller is very smooth and extremely difficult to operate with damp hands.

General Comments

It is a shame that it seems that Kenwood haven't given more thought to the functionality of the FP920. The grating/slicing disks are positioned so far beneath the bottom of the feed chute that the last quarter of anything you attempt to process is dragged through the resulting gap and hurled into he bowl in a lump. The main drive spindle is a very loose fit and constantly falls out when removing the bowl. There is no form of storage for the implements that come with the unit. The design is attractive but I'd rather have something that does its job well that looks pretty while it sits unused on the worktop.
