Good Points

This is clearly written, full of practical DIY ideas, that can be taken up and adapted to our own gardens. The pictures make it a lovely book to flick through and Alys is obviously a gardener to follow.

General Comments

I am the first to say that there are too many gardening books. These are often aimed at either the one day a year gardener who wants instant success, or else to the academic gardener who can afford to spend vast quantities of money on garden design. Alys's book is just right for people with limited time and money but with a real love of gardening.
