Good Points

Easy to deposit money


Bad Points

Very difficult to withdraw money in my experience
Exchange rate is not competitive at all after all fees and conversions have taken place as far as I am concerned
I had to pay 2 lots of conversion fees even though the second one is never mentioned.


General Comments

I signed up for moneybookers so that I could send money to my parents in New Zealand. The money was uploaded from my account without a problem although the conversion amount was a lot less than I was led to believe. After a lot of hassle trying to withdraw the money for me (it took over 2 weeks of calling customer services everyday before they deposited the money). The amount withdrawn was not actually the amount I received, as they added in another conversion rate charge that you are not aware of until it is too late. Overall the rate you actually end up getting does not make it worthwhile at all and I would not recommend moneybookers.
