General Comments

My brake pad warning light came on and I took the car to Kwik Fit for a quick replacement. Guess what - needed pads and discs (front and rear), rear shocks, new ABS sensors. Total sum £766. Unbelievable. I had the rear pads and discs done then came to my senses and said I didn't want the rest of the work done. They took £200 off after a fair amount of discussion, presumably because they didn't want me going to my normal garage, who would have told me there was little wrong. I can't believe I took my car there. Oh...and the front tyre was flat when it came out. And one of the wheelnuts hadn't been tightened (I could take it off with my fingertips).
