Good Points

Excellent picture quality, absolutely brilliant television, very good built in freeview channels.


Bad Points

Developed screen fault after 17 months

Long black line appeared in the centre of the screen, from left to centre.


General Comments


I had this model for 17 months, and was exteremely happy with it untill it developed a screen fault.
I have noticed a thin black line appearing in the middle of the screen from the left hand side through to the middle.
its starts off about 1mm thick and thins out towards the centre of the screen.

I have no idea why this has occured, but the TV is only 17 months old, and i paid £1200 brand new in 3 yr warranty.

so i have arranged and inspection from an engineer, as it under extended warranty.

If anyone is considering buying any expensive LCD TV, please make sure you purchase an extended warranty aswell.

I will be renewing my warranty when it expires, as repairs on this type of tv can be very expensive outside any warranty.
