Good Points

The Technology works well
The service engineers were friendly and helpfull - that is where it ends.


Bad Points

Call centre struggle to deal with my problems
Every issue has had to be dealt with by some one else on a different number
You have to explain the situation every time
That's just a few off the top of my head.


General Comments

Where do i start with ADT?

I have been paying monthly direct debits for full monitoring and maintainence cover of £21.95 for the last year and a half and i have still not had the system connected to the phone line yet. I have also given up trying to get my money back from them as i've been paying for a service that i'm not recieving because, well they just ignored me. But the final straw was this morning when i called about having the batteries changed on my alarm key pad, i thought a simple call, change the battery all covered by my excessive monthly direct debit how hard could it be?? Think again, i was told that i'd be charged £80 for the call out and if i wanted cover for replacing batteries i'd need to pay an extra £90 per year What am i paying for just now exactly? nothing it would seem. Needless to say when you dispute the costs they say "we don't deal with the money side of things you'll have to contact this department or that department or your local branch etc. etc."

I want to talk to someone high up in that organisation, someone who can handle all problems with out giving you a number to call someone else on.

PS the only reason i gave a 1 out 10 and not a 0 out of 10 is because although find they're poor at least they're consistantly poor and I got to give them credit for that.
