Good Points

When it works it works good. but


Bad Points

Ive had four aa led maglights and after a couple sets of batterys they start to flicker and then fail completely. when they start to flickekr i make the problem worse my self by shaking the light. read why below.


General Comments

As a tech i wanted to see if i could figure what is going wrong with my aa led maglights so i took one apart.
there is a tiny surface mount transformer the size of a small watch battery that was loose inside. it look like it was not mounted good enough or one side came loose and shaking the light to get it to work shook the transformer off completly from the board. i took another light apart and same thing.
if they had glued everything inside this would not have happened. i think i will go to another brand of light for i need something more reliable. i do like the lights but they need improved and they need to be ablle to send you the repair part with out you sending them the light.
