Guest's review of Vauxhall Astra 1.7 Diesel

★★★★☆

“My car is a 1993 1.7td with intercooler. Done 3000...”

Good Points
Smooth diesel engine which always starts even when freezing. glo plug light out and away you go...

Bad Points
Turbo can be bit lazy when warmed up but hey its for economy not boy racing.

General Comments
My car is a 1993 1.7td with intercooler. Done 3000 miles so far and its faultless! bought it with 139000 and still pulls well in low gears. must have been looked after I suppose. It can even run veg oil in a 20% mix but thats trial and error. Will try to get past 200k in it!
