Great to drive and powerful too.
Bad Points
Big end bearings and con rod bolts are terrible, if buying make sure you get a full service history!
General Comments
Only had d22 for 8 weeks, 2004, 55000 miles tappet noise on thursday evening on tickover, drove very carefully 1 mile to garage not exceeding 1500rpm, friday morning whilst warming up to drop the oil, con-rod number 3 smashed its way through the block, so I had no notice of this catasrophic failure, Nissan have extended warranty to 5 years but only if you have a full 6000 miles service history... oh dear I am out of luck £2200 for re-con engine, if you have one that hasn't popped either sell it or uprate big end bearings and con rod bolts before it does, because it WILL!
