Good Points

Flight on time on way out. Air Italia handling check in at heathrow. Polite and efficient. Nice meal on plane and 1 alcoholic drink. FAs friendly and efficient. Smoking area at Malta airport.


Bad Points

Flight home was awful. Twenty minutes delay on take off due to a National Geographic passenger feeling ill. Meal was uneatable, a bit of dried out chicken and dry rice. Add to this had central seat next to the worlds most ignorant man. He wanted a seat for his left elbow and almost stuck his finger up my nose twice. No smoking area at Heathrow. National geographic party and their damn laptops and constant yap. The awful in flight movie which was unwatchable due to a technical fault with the horizontal hold.


General Comments

It seems that the flight into Malta they try to create a good impression of the country. On the way back it seemed like "we've had your money the sooner we are home the better." It also seems that they still impose a fuel surcharge of £40 pp. BA is now much cheaper and the budgets are cheaper still. I doubt that I would fly Air Malta again.
