Good Points

Lovely warm, intimate ambience; friendly waitstaff, interested chef. Very, very good food.

General Comments

We happened upon this restaurant when we followed a gaggle of wiener dogs down a set of stairs.

We were charmed by the lovely room, and the excellent meal we had. We plan to return for a second night.

We heartily recommend the mussels appetizer; absolute heaven. Our entrees were a bit heavy with sauce for our taste (swordfish and haddock), but we plan to order more wisely tonight. The side of vegetables was delicious, and the desserts were flawless. As others have noted, there was no hint at all of a rush to serve us and have us leave the table.

The Seahorse is a great find, and reasonably priced for the high quality of the meal and the surroundings; wine and after-dinner drinks also reasonably priced.
