Good Points

Strong powerful suction
Easy to empty waste container
Well balanced for stairs
Fairly easy to pull around


Bad Points

A very bad point indeed is that the plastic connector on the metal tube where the flexible hose connects broke after only 3 - 6 months of use. This is an expensive tube to replace every 3 - 6 mths and is a real problem.


General Comments

I have purchased 2 of these dc05 for home and business and both have had this problem at similar intervals. I have replaced the tubes on both 3 times now. Therefore this is a great design spoilt totally by a poorly designed component and I would suggest that no-one buys this product until this inherent design fault has been addressed by Dyson on their DC05 or similar vacs. I like Dyson vacuum cleaners so hope they can resolve this ongoing problem and if they do then I believe them to be the best.
