Good Points
None, absolutely none.
Bad Points
Recoil and inaccuracy.
Expensive.
Less accurate than a rifle - air or cartridge - costing a third the price.
General Comments
A total waste of money! And the bother of an FAC. Horrific recoil and accuracy is poor. Those that write here should compare it to even the cheapest .22 rimfire rifle which will outshoot it in every aspect.
I absolutely hate to think what that recoil is doing to that expensive telescopic sight you've fitted. So called "real" guns - and I've shot them all from .22 rimfire to .270 to .470 don't punch you in the face when the spring is released like on the Patriot.
My advice? I'd sooner go two rounds with Mike Tyson that fire a Patriot. Truly horrible! If you can get, in England, an FAC then buy a .22 rimfire! If you can't get an FAC then buy a standard air rifle and practice, practice, practice.
This is meant to be enjoyable not being punched in the face.

Couldn't disagree more with your scathing assessment of this rifle. Like you I've handled many firearms and while the Patriot recoil is greater than a .22LR is it not by any means punishing. In the Accuracy dept. mine is excellent, 5 shot 5/8" groups ctc, 25 yds open sights-if that is considered inaccurate I would like to know what your standards are!
