Good Points

Total Absolute Relentless Reliability.
Plenty of Power & Torque.
Cheap to Service & Run.
Takes luggage comfortably and capable of serious touring.

Bad Points

Seat can be uncomfortable after an hour.
Looks a bit dated.
600cc block sounds a bit asthmatic.
Lights are rubbish.

General Comments

This bike is one of the All Time Great All Rounders. She is a loyal commuter, requiring very little maintenance. She flicks through traffic and is narrow enough for the tightest gaps. On the open road, after 7,000rpm, the 600cc block explodes into action. For a 90's engine, this 600 is one of the most powerful on the market. Make no mistake - this old girl will shoot to 230km/h and stick there. And the good news? These bikes are ridiculously cheap and are certainly classics in the making.
I sometimes dream of a 1000cc V-Twin with big noise and sharp looks. But let's be honest - the Fazer is the 1000 times more practical for most commuters.
