Bad Points

At times disobedient when you call her but only at times- she is very easily trained. However, i find a negative point with these dogs are they can get quite aggressive with strangers and over food!! my spaniel absolutely loves food and chocolate. and nothing gets in her way for it!! She has never ever bit anyone but if a stranger came into the house/yard she would go mad barking and growling at them and would take me a few minutes to settle her.. i suppose a good guard dog but i wouldn't trust her around children (especially with food in their hands). They seem to be into protecting their owner. But the good points make up for the bad!!


General Comments

I have a 2year old golden cocker spaniel. She's absolutely gorgeous, people would stop with me and her all the time when I'm out walking and ask loads of questions about her, where i got her etc. Excellent companion and so loyal!! She follows me everywhere. great with other dogs and even cats! me have collies and jack russel and in comparison she is far more loyal although often more disobedient!!

Overall and absolutely adorable pet, which is loyal, caring and just loves snuggling up on sofa! They do need a right bit of walking but they are spaniels and dogs after all it is only right to walk them! They follow you everywhere which i think is so cute as its so loyal.
