General Comments

I wish I had not wasted my time and money dealing with First Choice Hot Tubs. I got many promises when I was sold the tub but feel they don't want to know now. Tub is leaking like a sieve, worked out that the costs are over £5 per DAY to run! Faulty control panel. Now having to take legal action to recover costs. Not recommended!

The comment from sfowler above needs some clarification. The customer purchased a used hot tub from our ebay store. She purchased a hot tub we took in part exchange from a new customer of ours who had an existing hot tub he had bought from elsewhere . The customer is commenting on the quality of a spa which we do not manufacture or sell as new. The customer paid £2k for the item.

It was sold to us as ex-display NOT as used and taken in part-exchange so it is your reply that needs clarification - not my original comments. I am very interested in this respect, there is a vast difference between ex-display and pre-owned.

I would add, that finally a service engineer is supposed to be calling to fix the tub tomorrow but only after me having to threaten legal action and pleading for help. Had tub for just over two months and have received this quarter's electric bill - £524. Normally well under £200 from end of Aug to end of Nov. Reviewers, read in to it what you will for running costs and it would also appear you don't get delivered what you were sold if our hot tub was pre-owned and taken in part exchange yet sold as ex-display.

We now have a signed document from your husband stating he is happy with the repairs made by our engineer last week. We can post a copy here if necessary.
