Where do i start?


General Comments

My wife and I insured my beautiful Mazda RX7 through diamond as we could both go fully comp...
4 months into the policy my dream car was sadly written off..
They agreed to insure the car which was in exceptional condition and only 24,000 miles on the clock the day I bought it valued at the price I bought it for...
Now we are claiming, it feels like we have had to consistantly chase them up for every little detail only to be insulted by an offer that is thousands of pounds lower than the value of the car...
I'm not sure ho much research they've put into the worth of my car and have already sent out a cheque although they have never spoken to us to settle on a figure...
They said they would research the prices of cars in similar condition, with similar spec..ie: condition of car, mileage, etc.. and judge the payout on that, I'm not sure how well they've done this...
How can I replace my car if the price of buying these cars is way above my payout?
Isn't that why we pay fully comp?
Isn't it stressful enough being in the accident? Losing your car?
And all the other inconvieniences caused when your car is written off?
What's the point of paying these premiums if the comany we're paying to ease our minds won't stand by you when you need them to?
