Good Points

Takes over where Cross Stitch left off - if maybe not as capably. Still a rip-roaring page-turner, Dragonfly is the start of the couple Fraser's maturing realtionship, walking you through the problems faced by many couples even of today. Still it really gets going toward the end - this had me in tears. Read it & see for yourself.

Bad Points

As with all six (so far, 7 is on the way for 2009) it is at times too descriptive. The characters may start a conversation on one page & you may not read the next line of it until the three pages on!

General Comments

If you liked Cross Stich you will like Dragonfly in Amber - i struggle now to view any of the books as single entities - they are a series that need to be read in full without exception in order to understand fully what is going on.

I can't wait for "Echo of a Bone" - due we hope some time in 2009. Slightly worrying is that there may be a two-part film being made at some point. Let's hope they get the casting right and do not cast Keira Knighlty as Claire or Gerrard Butler as Jamie - that would spell the end (for me at least).
