Since a recent automatic software upgrade it has taken to freezing frequently during recording or playback. A lot of the programmes only record part way through and there is no chance of getting a series of recordings over a few days. This happened once before after another update. I haven't been able to get any technical help and I can't find out who is responsible for distributing faulty software or how to remove it.
Simple to use, it doesn't even need a child to program it. Good capacity, it took us over a year to get near filling the disk. A good machine ruined by badly tested software and unhelpful support in my experience I feel. I would never buy another of that brand. Do not recommend the Digihome PVR80/160.
