Century Arms Black Widow Cetme Sporter .308 Review

Accurate, low recoil for .308, good looks, did not jam after 50 rounds (so far). Plenty of inexpensive mags and other milsurp products available.

Hard to dis assemble as it sticks, receiver does not join with upper with pin (like ar's) paddle sights move after a few rounds. I can not use sling with Century butt stock. G3 mags are hard to fit and need some work but are nice after some drimmeling.

I got my CETME a few weeks ago and I'm hooked. My buddy and I bore sighted with laser in shop and took it outside. We placed a 4" x 6" 1/4 inch steel plate on top of a palate. From the sitting position I aimed with the 200 yard app. at 50 yards away. My buddy Sean says something witty like, "there's no way your going to hit that from here" (we do regularly with our AR's." I should have bet him a few clips...First shot, straight through...twice! Second shot was dead center!!! Okay, it fell in the can and I couldn't see it...but it DID go straight through the barrel and the 1/4 inch plate...I took it home as a trophy and a good story! My Buddy who is a huge fan of his .308 FAL and the reason I got this .308 was seriously impressed with this rifle. I have read story's about the Century CETME rifle both good and bad. In my case, I am extremely impressed and am looking to get another before OBidens ban...
