General Comments
I have serious doubts about their "advertised special buys" - recently one of the bid up channels had 50 sat navs up for grabs. I rang the number and with 49 still showing on screen received the recorded message that I was buying a sat nav. I pressed 1 but was then told the item had gone. Call me sceptical but how many other customers 'phoned at a cost of £1:50 and were charged £1:50 for nothing. It does not take a genius to work out how much bid up made on 'phone calls. Talk about a loss leader more like a fortune maker. This is very similar to the 'phone in scandal on BBC and ITV programmes when the public 'phoned in with a hope of winning a prize.
Like other contributors I would advise that you avoid these three channels...
