Good Points

It was our first time to Egypt and we didn't expected to enjoy it as much because it was the 4th countries on our trip, but to our surprised we loved it especially the Nile cruise on the Nile Odyssey. We really enjoy all our visits with Assam as a guide. The staff of the Nile Odyssey were so helpful, polite and funny. I could speak a few words of Arabic because I lived in Abu Dhabi for 7 years. The staff were very forgiving with my broken Arabic. We also enjoy the activities organised for us in the evening. Our room staff was always surprised us with decorations made from the bath towels. I did one for them when we left in the shape of suitcase. Hope they appreciated it? Thanks everyone on board the Nile Odyssey we hope to see you again next time.


Bad Points

Coming from Australia where smoking is band from restaurants and anywhere under covers we found smoking was very unbearable on deck. It must be a smokers heaven for them.


General Comments

Generally we found that shop keepers annoyed us no end. We would spend more money if we were allowed to choose or even have a look. With a little Arabic I managed to fenced them off and say no etc. At the end it was okay and we will go back to see more of the sites we didn't have time to see this time.
