- Telephone Banking

- Local Branch

- Customer Service

- Internet Banking

- Cash Point Facility

Attractive interest rates
Internet service reasonably good (when the pin number works)
Security screening over the phone
Bad Points
Bad customer advice service in my opinion - advisors giving conflicting information or unable to answer anything which is not run of the mill.
Seem unable to understand instructions given over the phone (like address changes)and no communication from them when they have a problem carrying out instructions.
Haven't worked out why they have customer care at branch offices, when you go there they hand you the phone and have you phone their customer advisors (back to square one). On my last unsuccesful attempt at getting a problem sorted, customer care apologised and simply shrugged their shoulders - I really got the impression that it was the rule rather than the exception.
Frequently 'timed out' or cut off on the phone when they can't be bothered (that's what it looks like anyway). However, this doesn't seem to happen when you phone from a branch office and tell them you are doing so.
One pin number I was sent simply didn't work and blocked after one try
General Comments
This is my experience as attorney for my mother's account. Setting up power of attorney with them was a challenge in itself and took me about 6 months. You would think that sending one copy of the power to their legal department would be enough to give power over all my mother's accounts, but they wanted a separate copy for each account.
If I had had to make a choice of bank, it would not have been this one
