Good Points

Nice design.
Moderate cleaning power.
Fairly quiet.


Bad Points

Doesn't clean baseboards very well, leaves about 1/2 inch next to the baseboards untouched.
Don't believe the hype, suction is OK, but I have seen far better on cheaper vacuum cleaners.
The 'visible' collection canister is the main reason for the hype,the canister's volume is actually quite small therefore appears visibly 'full' in a very short time leading to the belief that the dyson is doing more work than your old bag vacuum.
Attachment use is as annoying as on your old vacuum.


General Comments

I would not recommend the Dyson DC07 vacuum cleaner at it's current price, there are a lot better out there for that kind of money.
If you really want to try a Dyson get a Factory re-manufactured unit and give it a wirl.
My first impression was that, well....I just wasn't impressed, didn't get that 'blown' away feeling all the advertizing had conditioned me to expect, it worked no better and no worse than any other vacuum cleaner I have ever owned and was not worth the price.
