Good Points

Fit, feel and finish are all excellent!!! Very easy to cock. Great ergonomics and engineering. Most of all, just plain fun to shoot!

Bad Points

Minor: the front sight is a thin blade which makes aiming with precision a little difficult. Would be better if it were wider and filled the rear sight notch. Major: Webley & Scott I believe stopped making these and the last ones produced were made in Turkey.

General Comments

I was very fortunate to find a brand new Tempest made in England in the 1960s, still with all its original papers, in .177 caliber. I could not believe the way it felt in my hand. The only other gun that ever felt that good was a Model 52 Smith & Wesson pistol which I put thousands of .38 Specials through in bullseye shooting over the years. I have been around handguns all my life and have over 50 years of experience with them, including air pistols. My 15 seconds of fame was when I won the New York State IHMSA championship for my class in 1983. No brag, just saying I have a fair amount of experience with handguns. This is not a superspeed pistol (I have a chrony), it is not a serious target pistol and it is not a hunting pistol. Rather it is one fun gun to shoot: great for backyard plinking or as a camp gun.
