Greeted by a Redcoat at the entrance and knew we would be having fun!! Entertainment packed weekend. Totally exhausted after the 'pillow fight' for Children in Need on Friday. Sore throat from all the sceaming!!. Sugar Babes on the Saturday wow and a great warm up act. X factor and Britains got talent finalists on the Sunday ...Superb. Something for every member of the family. Afterwards had great shows until late .. Every single member of staff was polite, attentive and up for a laugh. The day time entertainment was good for the kids with free funfair (very safe and well run) and the indoor splash world which was spotless and also very safe with lots of lifeguards. The breakfast and dinner was perfectly edible with a good healthy balance. Hygiene was good and the self service provided enough options for my fussy kids !!.
Bad Points
We had a free upgrade to a silver apartment which looked like a communist housing scheme in decline!!. The apartment was on the top of two others which was accesses by steel fire escape stairs (they need some anti slip coating because they are very slippy when it rains). The apartment smelt of stale fags and the beds were horrid. It had a new bathroom and a clean kitchen. We didn't spend a lot of time in the place!!. The centre stage and other older venues looked and smelt dated and need some investment.
General Comments
The quality of the entertainment was very high and we will be going back to Butlins for another Arena break next November. I wish that the standard of accomodation was consistent. Ditch all those different levels like silver, silver plus and gold etc. Just get one good standard (like a travel lodge room) and demolish all those old apartments !! Spend some money on this and it will return its investment.

Center Parcs - Review - Centre Parcs Oasis Windfell Forest
Centre Parcs say that is was due to refurbishment, I beleive it was due to labour costs at this quiet time of the year. Albeit still great choice in the eating department.
