Good Points

Clean, automatic stop


Bad Points

Very expensive coffee only sold on the Internet. Very noisy operation. No choice of other manufacturer capsules. Nespresso coffee is about 44 euros per kg.


General Comments

I bought the Krups Nespresso Cube machine and used it 800 times. It makes a good cup of coffee but the same quality of coffee can be obtained by buying a Biffinet expresso machine from Lidls at 50 euros - which I did to compare the difference. This makes a great cup of coffee at a fraction of the price.
Cost comparison: Lidls Brazilian coffee sachet = 0.7 cents.
Nespresso capsule: 0.31 cents - more than four times the cost of a sachet.
The Nespresso machine is now up for sale, only because Nespresso got very greedy and charges far too much for its coffee. Once you own a Nespresso machine you are obligated to buy your coffee only from Nepresso. You can recycle the capsules by emptying the capsules, and filling with your favorite coffee and covering the capsule with a bit of aluminium foil - see a youtube vid on this.
