I am moving at the begining of next year to a town that doesn't have a Cannons so I wrote to the manager on 16th November to cancel my membership on 31st December.
The response from the manager was that I signed up for a 12 month contract so will have to pay Jan and Feb's payment, even though I am unable to use the facilities.
When I called to discuss the matter with the manager I got some snooty secretary who said they would just send debt collectors if i didn't pay up.
For 2 months it will cost me £111.74 for a service I am not recieving.
Luckily I work for the police so will see if anyone there can help me to get out of this contract.
I will post the outcome :)
