Good Points

They were really really friendly at first


Bad Points

Once they had our money things changed. Poor ground works, poor management, lack of customer care


General Comments

We agreed to a £22,000 conservatory in 2007, the problems started when they forgot to put in for the planning permission which put the completion date back by 57 days. We then had 2 different departments telling us differents dates as to when they would start. When the groundworkers turned up they were a subcontracted firm, we thought Anglian never used subcontractors. These guys then proceeded to "bodge" the drainage and down pipes. Once the groundworks were completed the actual fitters were a great pair of guys right up until the last pain of glass went in which they then smashed (fair enough accidents happen) when we refused to pay the full amount of the outstanding balance they became very pushy however. 2 weeks later the replacement pain came out with a different fitter, who then smashed it putting it in! Another 2 weeks later they replaced the glass, took the cheque and left.

It's now 14 months since the build was finished and we have a few leaks. When we phoned I feel they don't care, after 24 days a fitter came out and told us it should be fixed. Come the next heavy rain it leaked even worse! When we phoned again they were even less interested but sent out a fitter 7 days later who turned up in the dark, wondered around on the roof and tells us that the lead work carried out by them needs looking at. Not recommended!
