Good Points

Insure most drivers and most types of cars where other companies would not even consider you.


Bad Points

Loads of hidden charges... espically if you pay monthly.


General Comments

Having got my original quote online and was happy with what was offered, rung up to organise monthly payments... found out there was loads of hidden charges that is not showed or displayed on there face website. By going monthly they it amounts to an extra few hundred pound a year.
On the plus side, they are quick with sending the insurance certificates out, and the welcome pack is very nicely presented.

    They do quote for payment as a lump sum and if you wish for monthly payments there is an interest rate of 5% which amounts to £100s as you say. However, you will be instructed of this when taking out the policy by phone and have the choice of lump sum (cheaper) or monthly. Nearly all insurance companies do this so Elephant really isn't an exception.
