Jamie's Ministry of Food has some good ideas. Recipes seem simple and easy to follow but: sometimes instructions not clear .e.g. braised cabbage and bacon: just says add a stock cube and 285mls of water, when we did this the cabbage was so salty we couldnt eat it, needs to specify which stock cube and if it should be diluted and just use the specified amount. Also baked carrots in a bag, were far too orangy, didn't need the juice. They didn't cook in 50 mins either. Concept very good, but a bit more explanation of techniques needed if it is aimed at the novice in the kitchen.
