Good Points

Waiters, maid and Bar staff very friendly. Places visited very good


Bad Points

Food very poor, dirty brown water for showering and washing, entertainment very poor. Drinks prices very high. Italian officers could not give the time of day to passengers.


General Comments

Overall very disappointed with our cruise of the Far East on the Allegra. The food was of a very poor standard have you ever tried cold strawberry and banana soup for a starter or chunks of mutton served up as roast lamb to name but a few. The buffet was bread rolls cheese and ham with a few cakes and pizza every day, they offered a surprise buffet one night but the only surprise was they had moved it. We were hoping for more of an oriental menu as we were in the far east. The entertainment was mostly Italian although 70% of passengers were English speaking. I would suggest that a Virgin representative try this cruise before selling it under the Virgin banner.
