Good Points

Very Good to start with, picked up like a dream.


Bad Points

A few years later becomes pathetic at picking up and seems to just move the dirt round. We have stripped it down and found that the root cyclone is difficult to clean and is very prone to blockage . Weeks later it is pathetic at picking up again. The stripping down to clean is such a palaver and you need instruction from the internet, Dyson were not helpful at all. Now the machine needs stripping down again and the motor overheated and cut out on me this week. Time to be replaced. I will be buying another make. Not sure which yet.


General Comments

I am an owner of the model DC07 Animal and bought it as a replacement for an earlier model thinking that it would last me a long time and cause very little trouble. The body is robust however it is supposed to continue to pick up dirt not move it around. It should be easier to strip down and keep clean than it is.
