General Comments

I order a car end August and paid my deposit and was told I'd have my car in 2-3 weeks. 2 weekes passed, they had all my documents and had returned them but I hadn't heard anything else. Then my trouble started.
I phoned them, they said there had been a delay it would be another 2 weeks from that day as they'd only just rec'd the finance from Barclays. Numerous delivery dates came and went - they never EVER phoned me, I always had to phone them, wait for 20 mins in a queue only to get the latest story about why the hold up. Eventually after almost 2 months I was supposed to start paying the finance company which there was no way I was going to do without the car and no sign of it coming any time soon, so we reluctantly cancelled the order. They said they'd refund my deposit back onto my card straight away.
Then the whole merry-go-round started all over again. I have had numerous excuses as to why my refund is delayed (almost 4 weeks now) trouble with their machine, trouble with my card, waiting for a boss to come back from holiday to sign the cheque, etc, etc. I wish I'd never started with them really.

    Can anyone tell me if they have recieved refunds from DC Cooks. I had to cancel my order after endless excuses, and have now been waiting almost a month for them to return over £16,000, and I am getting increasingly worried.

    My deposit is much smaller, but they have yet to refund it or settle with the finance company so we can't get finance to go elsewhere. I am starting legal proceedings.
