Very poor service/advice from Hotpoint.
Our Hotpoint FF175B fridge isn't cold but the freezer is working fine. Spoke to Hotpoint service and they want £110.00 call out. Spoke to a local repairer who said switch it off for 24 hours and defrost the freezer and it should work fine. Why couldn't Hotpoint tell us that? Our 1 year warranty expired in July 2008 and now this happens after 16 months.
