Feels and acts like a proper SLR
Good image quality - sharp and good colour

erm .... at this price?
General Comments
I paid £225 for my Nikon D40 with the 18-55 zoom & 2 year warranty.
I paid that much 3 years ago for my Sony compact so for a full dSLR the price is excellent value.
The only barrier to moving from a compact to an SLR was price, but with this barrier removed my hobby is reborn.
Just buy one!
