General Comments

Extremely poor bank, especially on line the e-banking staff. Some do not have a joined up approach to problems which according to them is not of their making. Their standard answer is they ask you to re-register which takes several days. In my case the re-registration failed to sort problem and ended up taking 3 weeks in that time I had very substantial amount locked away with no means of access.
They eventually agreed that the problems were of Nationwides making in that the card magnetic strip and chip were not correct and they found manufacturing faults and as the card reader needed to do any action was finding errors and locking me out over and over again.
Thought was all sorted but tonight online OK then logged off, despite using same logging in details as 30 minutes earlier again is locked out.
This is beyond a joke unless sorted dumping Nationwide.
